This time around, he blesses us with Mvula as the tribute song following the death of the Malawian vice president and 9 others who died in a plane crash.

“Mvula” is the chichewa word which translates to “Rain.” Rain is perhaps used in the song as a metaphor, perhaps to explore themes of rebirth, emotional purification, or the healing quality of rain in relation to growth and trials in life.
